Now residing in Vancouver, Canada, Amanda has travelled the world totaling to 84 countries and all 7 continents and has lived in 11 countries. She has been named "Top 100 Women in Business" by Chanel, nominated for “Top 40 under 40” by Entrepreneur Herald, shown in galleries across the world, been on multiple TV shows/ publications and her work as an artist and photographer has been awarded and nominated. Traveling the world has taught Amanda a lot of patience, fresh perspective and new ways of life from the people she has met abroad.
It is said a "photographer should shoot what they want, not what they get" and her photography embodies the eye of someone who sees past the big picture delving deep to seek out that special feeling, thought, emotion or connection with the subject for the viewer. The little things, the little details are what matter. Amanda studied at the University of Alberta in Canada and holds a BFA/ EDu degrees, Event Planning and Interior Design from New York University (NYU). Amanda is a freelance photographer for Vogue USA, Esquire Magazine and Meero, an agency in Paris, France. As well her photos have been awarded by Picfair and have been nominated for awards in categories of Street and Black and White for Lensculture.
