I feel so humbled to have received such outstanding feedback on my yoga pants. To see the complete list of news outlets that they have been featured on please see below. Thank you Posh Public for collaborating with me and making this a success!
I was approached by a friend of mine who is a teacher at Whispering Hills Elementary School to teach her grade two class art for the day. I am so happy that she asked me to come in because I had a blast and remembered how much I loved teaching art. If you didn't know already I have my degree in Education and I taught art for two years. I loved every moment of it.
The project that I did with the grade two's was intense and I am happy that they made it through 8 hours of painting! They did such an amazing job I was so proud :)
Below you can see some great action shots I took while they were painting. The project was to create three paintings using three different techniques I taught them for each painting.
After they finished painting their three paintings they were to paint a back ground and assemble an abstract geometric painting or "masterpiece" :) We then framed it for them and had them sign the bottom of the painting on the matting and wrapped them to give them to their mom's for Mother's Day. They turned out amazing, don't you agree?
Thank you again to Whispering Hills Elementary School for having me come teach you art. I loved every minute of it!

Introducing to you a new original painting "You are such a Gem". This past month I spent time collaborating with Keltie, who is the owner of the unique jewellery line Keltie Leanne Designs from Vancouver, BC, Canada. Keltie Leanne Designs Collection's always feature special attention towards feminine and modern designs made from high quality gold-fill and vermeil, sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones.
The SS" collection has a beach-y, slightly bohemian vibe, and features tropical-brights as well as iridescent, mellow hues. (check it out and purchase here! http://keltieleannedesigns.com/ )
When Keltie approached me to create a beautiful painting inspired by this spring collection (full credit to Amanda for the work itself says Keltie), I said yes! How could I ever say no to a talented fellow Canadian designer? "You are such a Gem" is adorned with the pretty metallic tones, rich beautiful turquoise and labradorite hues.
Best of all - Keltie and I have decided to give one of you the chance to own this one-of-a-kind work of art plus a new piece of jewellery from the spring collection.
